This past week our Landscape Designers from across the company gathered together for a series of presentations and training sessions - recharging their creative batteries and keeping their skills at the leading edge of our industry.  I was fortunate to be in attendance as the meeting kicked off and came back with a new appreciation for not only the talent of our Landscape Designers, but their dedication to making sure that every client we serve finds the hidden potential in their property’s landscape.

Because even some of our existing clients aren’t taking advantage of the tremendous value that our Design Team brings to the table, here are a few ways that our Landscape Designers can help you uncover the potential in your property’s landscape.

Evaluating Your Existing Landscape Features

Working with our Landscape Designers starts with a thorough inventory of your property’s existing condition.  Designers visit properties in person to document both the types of plant materials and the overall health of the existing plants and turf.  Removing declining shrubs, applying any necessary pruning, and treating plants and turf are often the first step to improving a property’s appearance.  Part of this evaluation process also includes noting irrigation systems and any other factors that may influence the health of any new plants added to your landscape.

Presenting a New Vision for Your Property

This is where the talent, knowledge, and creativity of our Landscape Designers are put to work for you.  Using a variety of tools like architectural drawings, elevation drawings, renderings, and photo enhancements, our designers show you how your new landscape feature areas will look before anything is planted.  Using their experience and knowledge of local plant materials, they’ll create plans that will not only look great after the installation, but sustain their appearance season after season.

Final Design Approval and Installation Oversight

Landscape Design delivers the best results when our clients are involved in the process.  Once you’ve seen the plans our Designer creates, you have the opportunity to adjust the design to fit your vision and your budget.  When you’re ready to bring the design to life, our Designer prepares the plans for installation and, whenever possible, oversees installation at your property, making sure that the collective design you approved is what ends up in the ground.

Does your property have an area that could use a refreshed appearance?  Feel like your property has lost it’s “wow”, but not sure how to get it back?  Landscape Design is the place to start.  For existing clients, landscape design services are included in each landscape management agreement. Ask your Account Manager about our landscape design services today.  Not a client?  Click the ‘How Can We Help You’ button at the top of the page and we’ll help you find the potential in your property’s landscape today.
