Edgewater by Del Webb is an Active Adult Community that was fully built out at 1,047 single family homes. The property sits on 600 acres with just over 100 acres of finished turf. Edgewater features five stately monument signs that are provided annual flower rotations. Each year 9,500 bulbs are planted along with 250 flats of summer annuals. In addition, 135-gallon accent plants and 900 mums decorate the large community center.
The community's annual contractual service include both lawn and snow services and was recently extended for another 5 year term. This can be credited to the strong relationships, long tenured employees and professional community association management. In 2014 the community was recognized with an Excellence in Landscape Award by the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association.
