The City of Ormond Beach, an upscale community located immediately north of Daytona Beach, Florida, is home to approximately 40,000 residents. The city bears the nickname “The Birthplace of Speed” in honor of early stock car races held on the city’s beaches and streets.
Multiple landscape service contracts were consolidated into one partner agreement with Yellowstone Landscape, resulting in a more uniform appearance across the city’s facilities, parks, and rights of way.
High profile areas, most frequented by the city’s residents, are detailed each week to maintain their desired appearance during the community's active events schedule. More than 30,000 annual flowers are placed within the city each year. The grounds services agreement also includes irrigation systems maintenance and repairs, trash and debris removal at parks and city facilities, and maintenance of more than 50 manicured medians.
